AT&T Router/Gateway Login
Access your AT&T Fiber or U-verse gateway to change WiFi settings, manage devices, and configure network options. Use the Smart Home Manager app (recommended) or login via web browser.
Login to AT&T Gateway:

Find Your Password: Look on the side or bottom of your AT&T gateway for a sticker with "Device Access Code" or "System Password". It's a 10-digit alphanumeric code unique to your device.
How to Login
- Connect to your AT&T WiFi or use ethernet cable
- Open a web browser
- Type
http://192.168.1.254in address bar - Enter the Device Access Code from your gateway label
- Click Login

What You Can Configure
- WiFi Settings — Network name, password, channel

Change WiFi Password
Via Web Interface
- Login to 192.168.1.254
- Go to Home Network → WiFi
- Click on your network (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Edit the WiFi Password field
- Click Save
Via Smart Home Manager App
- Open Smart Home Manager app
- Tap Network
- Tap WiFi
- Edit password
- Tap Save
IP Passthrough (Use Own Router)
To use your own router with AT&T Fiber:
- Login to 192.168.1.254
- Go to Firewall → IP Passthrough
- Set Allocation Mode to Passthrough
- Select Passthrough Mode: DHCPS-fixed
- Select your router from the device list
- Click Save
- Your router will now get the public IP
Note: Some AT&T gateways don't support true bridge mode, only IP passthrough.
Port Forwarding for Gaming
- Login to 192.168.1.254
- Go to Firewall → NAT/Gaming
- Click Add
- Select device or enter IP address
- Select game or enter custom ports
- Click Save
Troubleshooting

| Can't reach 192.168.1.254 | Make sure you're on AT&T WiFi, not cellular |
| Password not working | Use Device Access Code from gateway label |
| No internet | Check ONT has power, restart gateway |
| Slow WiFi | Change WiFi channel, check for interference |
| Can't find access code | Check all sides of gateway for sticker |
| Broadband light red | Service issue — contact AT&T |
Restart Gateway
- Unplug power cord from gateway
- Wait 30 seconds
- Plug back in
- Wait 3-5 minutes for full restart
Or use Smart Home Manager app → Network → Restart
Factory Reset
- Find reset button on back of gateway
- Press and hold with paperclip for 15 seconds
- Gateway will restart (5-10 minutes)
- Connect to default WiFi (on gateway label)
- Login with Device Access Code
Warning: Factory reset erases all custom settings.
